R7 versus R6 Mark II - Strictly to Educate Myself and Look at Options

I have a 7D Mark II. I'm extremely happy with it and the way it focuses.

I wish I had a Mark III with an updated sensor and going along with that lower high ISO noise.

An R7 Mark II doesn't exist. It may or may not ever happen.

An R6 Mark II does exist.

What is the difference between an R7 and R6 Mark II other than one is full frame and the other is crop. I can do all the calculations regarding  the effect a full frame and crop sensor effect my current lenses and what Canon currently has.

Essentially there my 100-400 II L and a 1.4 TC that B&H says would work fine with a mirrorless and not so fine (my experience confirms the not so fine part) on my 7D Mark II. Or on a Canon 100-500L lens. I can see the diffrence in reach with crop and full-frame bodies.

How do the focusing systems differ? I'm asking that since a good percentage of what I photograph involves action.

What other differences of interest.
