Man I'm bad at this. I recently bought a Sony A7R IV with a Sony FE 20mm F1.8G lens. My main focus will be astrophotography and landscape. The view from my home is spectacular and no photos take with a phone have ever done it justice. Today I played with the lens and left the camera settings on auto. My pics were not good. The mountains are actually right in your face and you can make out the fine details with the naked eye. However, my photos tell a completely different story. (I didn't edit this photo at all.) What am I doing wrong? As you can see I live in the middle of nowhere so a class isn't a reasonable option. Thanks!
